Luxury Preowned Cars

If you have a convertible top, leave it up and the windows and vents closed. A convertible top can develop nasty creases when folded for long periods, especially in cold climates.

Preowned Bristol Cars For Sale UK and London : Used Bristol

Bristol Cars Ltd is a world famous car manufacturing company based at Filton, near Bristol, England.  All its Luxury cars are hand-built taking four times the man-hours to complete than other luxury cars. Because of this the company rolls out only a small number of cars or to be more precise just about 100 cars annually.

This reputed car making company claims to be the last wholly British-owned luxury car builder. Its unique marketing strategy includes eliminating the distributors and car dealers and instead directly deals with their customers. All its models are on display in a showroom in Kensington, London.

Bristol cars have little to do with ostentation. Built along traditional lines these cars have got more to do with practicality than flamboyance. They are designed to suit daily transportation rather than once in a while indulgences. Cars built today are similar in major details as those built 30 years back. The discreet styling is more an engineer’s creation than packaging. So the style is in keeping with good aerodynamic qualities. What makes them all the more striking is the small size for a four seater. The company expects a Bristol to outlast its owner. This is more so true because Bristol Cars maintain any car they ever built. There is a ready stock of vast majority of parts. If required the company can remanufacture it for its owners.

The Bristol 400, manufactured in 1947 was built along the lines of pre WW-II BMWs. This model had a similar appearance to BMW 327. Its suspension and engine was a replica of BMW designs. Even the striking grille of BMW was not changed.

The Bristol cars manufactured till 1961 used the 6-cylinder derived engines of BMW. These engines were also used in many sports cars. When Bristol 407 rolled out in 1961, the company relied on big engines of Chrysler V8. These engines were more suited for heavy cars. Bristols cars made from 1961 which includes the Fighter and Blenheim models to date use engines of Chrysler.

The Bristol Type 603 was one of its famous models launched in 1976. This was followed by the the 603S2, which had a standard 5.9 litre Chrysler unit that was to be used for other subsequent models. The third series of 603 was the 603s3. It was introduced in 1982.

Bristol further refined the 603, with the Blenheim. This model had improved both on performance and fuel consumption. After this there were two more new series of Blenheim. In 1998- 99 Blenheim, rolled out a new version. It featured an improved transmission, which helped save on fuel consumption. The next version of Blenheim which rolled out in 2000 had the typical vertical tail-lights discontinued. However it had a better looking interior with improved instrumentation and an entirely new kind of gear.

With no advertisement Bristol cars have an exclusive obscurity about them. Nevertheless it has retained its appeal to a certain class of buyer. So pre owned luxury cars or used classic cars of Bristol are always in demand

Second-hand luxury cars of Bristol have a rare quality which makes them invaluable.
