Enzo Ferrari worked at Alfa Romeo through most of the 1920s before deciding to build his own racing and road cars. After years of modifying and building racing cars using Fiat and Alfa Romeo components, Ferrari set up shop in Maranello, Italy, and produced his own car in 1948. |

Porsche 911 cars built and sold between 1998 and 2005 are known as Porsche 996. The model features a lot of improved and advanced internals like water-cooled engines in place of air-cooled engines and stricter noise regulation. 996 engines use dry sump oiling technique; hence the engines are more reliable. It was available in 2-door Coupe and 2-door Convertible style with H6 engines displacing 3.4 L or 3.6 L.
