Porsche 356 was the first production car of the company. It was a rear-engine rear-wheel-drive 2-door sports car. Porsche 356 was available in both hardtop and convertible styles. Porsche 356 examples were built between 1948 and 1965. Total 76,000 units were produced; half of which still survive. Porsche 356 underwent several configuration changes; modified versions were introduced as Porsche 356A, 356B and 356C.
