Lamborghini made Jalpa from 1981 to 1988. Lamborghini Jalpa was a very successful model of Lamborghini; 419 Jalpa cars were produced and sold. Jalpa was an affordable car and much cheaper than its predecessor Countach. It had transversely mounted 3.5 L V8 engine of 255 hp. Bertone designed and developed the body. It was a 2-door coupe with RMR layout.
